Justin had just started his Junior year of high school when he was diagnosed in October 2018 with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia . He had just come off a very successful school and travel baseball season where he had several state accolades and broke his high school’s all-time single season hit record. Through the course of his treatment he had many obstacles to face including severe neuropathy that left him in a wheelchair.
He worked hard in physical therapy and was determined to walk to the field at the start of his high school team’s first baseball game , which he did , and cheered them on all season from the dugout. Justin is in maintenance now and hopes to be an inspiration to others who are facing this difficult journey. Justin will be returning to school this fall where he can’t wait to play for his team again!
